CRYSTAL SHERIE - April 17th, 2025
Let us make a little chamber, I pray thee, on the wall; and let us set for him there a bed, and a table, and a stool, and a candlestick: and it shall be, when he cometh to us, that he shall turn in thither.
2 Kings 4:10
I remember when I found out I was pregnant with my son. My husband at the time and I had just purchased a three bedroom home with a huge front and back yard. We were so happy. So, immediately we knew that one of those rooms would be for our son. We had to make a room for him and make sure that he was comfortable and that we had everything ready for him before I gave birth. So we did two things. The first thing we did was throw a baby shower. Then we went shopping and got the remainder of the items for his room. Making room for him in our lives was one of the most exciting things we'd ever done as a couple. In today's devotion I have one simple question? When the Lord spoke out your Jeremiah 29:11 did you really take the time to make room for it? Did you consider what the condition of the room in your heart and soul was and then what it needed to be for God to come and take residency so He bring it all together? In other words did you prepare for Him and your Jeremiah 29:11? 2 Kings 4:10 shows us that when you value the spirit of the Lord and your Jeremiah 29:11 you will make all of the necessary accommodations for it. Remember, before the Lord can bring you all the way into your destiny He needs a room. And not just any room. But a room that was prepared specifically to accommodate His comfort as well as put Him at the center of your life. If He knows the beginning and end then His voice is the only voice that can get us to what He has prepared for us before the foundations of the world. My friends today is a great day to make sure you not only consult the Lord but build the Lord a room. Grace
