WE MUST TEST OUT

My devotion today is something that simply caught my attention. Matthew 4:1 tells us that the Spirit led Jesus into the wilderness to be assessed by the devil. But it never said that the Spirit led Him out of the wilderness. In other words, Jesus being full of the Holy ghost was led by the Holy Ghost to the devil who set up opportunities and occasions to draw Jesus into sin and to test His nature. In essence, Jesus went to prove our new design and pattern was successful. You see after Adam fell in the garden, Jesus had to bring our new record for our soul and be tested with that record both in and out. "Tested in" means Jesus was assessed on specific subjects the devil chose. "Tested out" means Jesus had to demonstrate God's wisdom and  prove that He knew God's ways and His word. What am I saying? Once we are led into the wilderness with our new born again spirit by The Spirit of the Lord, The Holy Spirit will not lead us out. We can't tap out, we can't cheat our way out, nor do we just walk out. We have to test out. Again, my friends, we are tested out. The great news is that the test is an open book test. Jesus left us with all of the answers in the holy scriptures and the Bible. If you're going to resurrect anything today let it be the true record of your soul in Christ Jesus. It's why He lived, died, and rose again. It's the reason you'll go into many wildernesses assigned to your Jeremiah 29:11. One way in one way out. But victory was already assigned and designed for us once we go in. Today is a great day to step into your wilderness knowing your successful steps are ordered. I'm cheering for you!
