HEALINGS VS CREATIVE MIRACLES

There  is a difference between healings, and creative miracles. According to Mark 16:17, one of the signs that follows believers is, "...they will lay hands on the sick, and they (the sick) will recover".  Recovery is the process of getting better over a period of time; it's not instantaneous or miraculous.

Miracles, on the other hand, are instantaneous. Psalms 77:14 NIV says, ' You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples.' John 2:1-11 Jesus performs the first miracle by turning water into wine. Acts 19:11-17 we see creative miracles in action through the Apostle Paul.

This is all possible once we step into our identity in Jesus Christ. When we are born again, we receive our new creation spirit as well as the Spirit of God, all of the DNA and genetics that He is. Paul says that we should not behave as mere men (see 1 Corinthians 3:3). This is because we are far from being mere men—we have the DNA of our Creator God. So in essence we are now empowered to perform the acts of our God under the leadership of the Holy Ghost...according to our rank (sanctification level) and title in the kingdom...here on earth.

Think about another statement of Paul's: "...the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you" (Romans 8:11). What type of human beings does this really make us? I will tell you...it makes us Gods off spring.
