So there was a-a boy and this boy was being picked on in school. And it was really, really bad. He was being picked on in school. So one day he decided that he was going to fight back. So he asked his best friend...he said, " Man I know you really don't, don't wanna get in this but, but I need you to come with me. I need you to come with me. I'm getting ready to take on this guy and I need you to come with me. And you don't have to do anything but just, I want you to hold the door open. He was like, 'You just want me to come with you and hold the door?' He said, 'Yeah, I just want you to hold the door open.' Because he knew that after he got finished with that fight that he'd hafta run out because the whole crowd was getting ready to tell his brother...(so he would hafta) and deal with his brother. So, the guy said, '.ok' So the young man went and the guy started picking on him. So he dealt with the guy. He finally dealt with him. And low and behold, he saw through the open door, that his brother was headed down the hallway. So he ran out and met his brother and dealt with his brother as well. My friends, this is awesome. Because what this shows is the same thing and the same mindset that David had. The bible says that there were five lords of the philistine. David took five smooth stones. And he did this because he understood that he could not just take care of Goliath. He had to take care of the entire problem. Sometimes we just wanna deal with one aspect, right, and get it over with. When God has given us the victory over the entire thing. So for victory you need to know, you need to deal with the... everything that is connected. What do you have the faith for? Do you have the faith just to start and not stop? Do you have the faith to go four, five steps and then stop? Or do you have the faith like David who took the five smooth stones. To deal with all five of the uncircumcised philistines. Remember, they were uncircumsized so they had no covenant with God. But David had covenant with God. My friends, this is the season that you should ask yourself, will I deal with the entire problem? Do I have the faith to put the five smooth stones in my bag? And not only kill my Goliath, but kill the other four giants that I know will be coming. Ask yourself, do I really want the victory?
