CRYSTAL SHERIE - March 14th, 2025
Woe to them that are at ease in Zion, and trust in the mountain of Samaria, which are named chief of the nations, to whom the house of Israel came!
One of the worst things I have found in life was when I ran into a WOE. A WOE is a condition of being in the state of grief, or affliction, or anguish, calamity, or judgement. It's an outward or inward condition. It can be both. It can be the affliction of the soul and/or outward circumstances. All throughout the old and new testaments the Bible speaks of WOES. One thing I noticed about studying WOES is that we bring WOES upon ourselves. WOES are assigned to certain mindsets and behaviors. If you adopt this certain mentality or engage in these types of behaviors you by default lock yourself into WOES. But not only that, there are demons assigned to these WOES. For example the demon Belphagor. This is the demon of sloth. He inspires laziness and inaction. But his most lethal weapon is apathy. This is the epidemy of confusion. He tells you there is no need to rush. He tries to convince you that taking a break will solve everything. His influence makes you feel like you're just resting or taking a break. But soon, hours turn into years. And you look up one day and the time God has allotted you is mostly gone. Why? Because he knocks you out of timing and true knowledge. Next, is the demon Asmodeus. This demon is good at drawing you away from your responsibilities for instant gratification. He doesn't want you to work and build destiny. He wants you to seek what appears to be successful now, hereby putting off your assigned Jeremiah 29:11. His voice can be heard saying, 'Just one more time, just one last thing, just one more ride, just one more episode. And finally, Acedia, the demon of despair. He makes your assignments from God appear hopeless and worthless. So anytime you see the WOES in scriptures know that there is a demon assigned to them (WOES) and the goal is to keep you in a state of being apathetic towards your destiny, out of God's will, and to keep putting off what God told you to do. My friends, today is the day of examination.
