DID I MISS IT?

This morning I was thinking about the sacrifice of marriage. When you first  get married you are in this bliss. This space of finally coming into COVENANT and living life together to become one.  After all of the trials and tribulations of dating, family, friends, and other spaces that were once occupied alone that now have to make room for two.  The single days are over. The day came that you both said, 'us against the world.' Although you are two separate people you are now in the process of becoming one in everything. The goal is not only to share experiences but build a life together.  The Lord spoke to me and said, 'I gave mankind marriage to understand me. Me giving my life was never about rules and regulations or even going to heaven. The goal was never to give mankind a to-do list, but a relationship with me.' If you see Christianity as a to do list or a way to get to heaven then you my friend, will always live life like you're in a cage. The only way for you to step into your complete identity is to understand that, He did it for love.
