THAT'S THE FEELING I WAS LOOKING FOR

How I met him was an accident. See, I wasn't supposed to even be there that day. But after that day we were together almost everyday on purpose. We got so close that we could finish each other's sentences. We knew everything about each other. It was normal for us to talk late at night until one or both of us would fall asleep. My day wasn't right until I heard his voice. Then one day he got a new job and I moved out of state. The late night phone calls stopped. We barely saw each other during the week. When I moved out of state we never saw each other. Then we just kinda grew apart. By the time we reconnected we were both in different spaces in our lives. Why am I telling you this? Because someone asked me how a person gets close to God? My answer is the same way you get close to anyone, by spending quality time with Him. He likes daily talks. He likes for you to find out everything about Him like He knows about you. He likes to talk to you until you fall asleep. He likes to talk to you in your sleep. He wants to be with you everyday on purpose. My friends, this is what is important to God concerning you. Is it just as important to you?
