THE DEFINITION OF SUCCESS

Most times when we think about success we think about athletes and movie stars, we think about inventors and for the most part people who have the skill set, ability, and who work hard to fulfill certain obvious dreams on their own. But what happens when The Lord gives you a download of a dream and a desire that doesn't match your present? That doesn't match what people think about you? That everyone tells you to follow them and they will show you what's best for you? When God never gave that download to them? And even more so...That isn't something He gave everyone eyes to see concerning you? Remember the Bible says, He gives us what to want. Philippians 2:13 says it this way, He works in us His will and to act. So that desire that you have to glorify His name in that unique manner or a certain way is not a selfish ambition and rebellion against the church, it's Him pushing you to squeeze out every piece of your Jeremiah 29:11. And when we commit these works that the grace of God has dropped in our hearts and downloaded to us, to give Him glory, as a part of our Jeremiah 29:11, it is God who will began to establish them. Isn't this awesome? Again, these are the parts of our Jeremiah 29:11 that men have no control over. God never intended men to rule and control our destiny. This is why God caused us to glorify His name in that way ...so only God can bring it to pass and only God can get the glory. Isn't that amazing about The Lord? That He has not caused any man to cause us to be successful only Himself. I've seen a strange thing under the sun. I've seen those with a horrible life become successful and established by God as they've lived out their Jeremiah 29:11 and then I've seen those with all the education, skill, money, and potential to have a successful life ...who have worked hard....never be established and lose at life. Or gain success and then not be established. So listen, God says, success is a burden that should be transferred to the Lord. In other words if it's God's will it is God's bill. He will bring about our end not people. My friends, DREAM BIG.
