FROM THIS DAY FORWARD I CALL YOU A ROCK

I remember at my previous job HR messed up on my paycheck. I had bills to pay. So I immediately called and pointed out the mistake and they agreed. So now I'm thinking...run me my coins...and they were like, not so fast we've gotta get permission. I said, 'but it was your mistake.' HR said, 'it was... but we still need the word of our superior to dispense the funds.' So I had to wait. My point is not HR sucks, I may have thought that in my younger years. My point is there are some things that can only happen off of the word of a superior. In this case...the word of the Lord. In scripture I just read ...the psalmist said,  'revive me according to your word.' Even better, Peter said to Jesus, 'if you would give me your word, I can walk on water too..' And guess what? Jesus told Peter to come and he stepped out of the boat and walked on the water. How much more effective could we be if we really took God at His word. David said, your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. God's word is the perfect foundation to trust in because He never disappoints. If God has ever given you a word now is not the time to doubt Him, but to trust Him. Because although I had to wait on the superior to release the word to get what's rightfully mine, I still got it. All you need is the word. And once you got the word... be like Peter and become the one that says, '...give me the word and I'll do it.' My friends it's a great day to walk on water.
